How to Stay Off Santa's Naughty List
We are very happy to have you as a guest to our display. As our neighbors are very understanding about the display and the traffic it generates, we ask that everyone who visits the light show abide by the following:
- Please do not block driveways. Our neighbors need to get in and out.
- Do not litter ... it seems obvious, but it happens.
- Try to turn off your headlights to watch the display. We understand that many vehicles can't turn off their lights unless the engine is off. We ask that you please turn your engine off and bring blankets to keep warm. :)
- Although you may really enjoy the show, we ask that you don't honk your horn or blast your car radio. If you would like to show appreciation (or whatever else), please send us an email (link on the side).
We understand that everyone is trying to watch the show with the best view. Here are our suggestions:
- The busiest nights are Christmas Eve and Christmas Night. Try to avoid those nights.
- If it's busy, once you finish seeing the show, we ask that you please leave to give others a chance to see it. You can come again all you want! :)
- If there is a line going into the street ... please be patient and wait your turn. If anyone goes around the line it is most likely because they live there and are trying to get home! Please don't get mad at them.
- Don't pull sideways directly in front of our house. It upsets those who have parked along the sides to get a good view (since you are now blocking their view).
- Many times, it is best to park diagonally across from the display looking towards our house. You can park side-by side and back in towards the curb.
- If you want to leave your vehicle and walk in to watch the light show, please park on the side streets during busy nights. We ask that you stay on the sidewalk and out of the display area due to the high voltage and use caution for your safety.
- Finally, be patient getting out of the display area. On busy nights, it can be slow going and a challenge.
- Drive slow and carefully; avoid accidents and altercations!
